Mohave Blue Druzy I

This subtle but striking double pendant will be noticed and complimented. The top oval cabochon is Mohave Blue Turquoise. I know, not a normal colored Turquoise, for sure. That is because “Man” has had a hand in it. It starts as a commercial grade turquoise and is broken down, dye added, then metal filings, and stirred well. It is then formed back into solid cabochons – with just little bits of blue turquoise peeking out. I don’t usually go for any dyed stones at all, but this one is attractive and, for me, an exception to my rule. The bottom cabochon is a lovely Chrysocolla Druzy.

The Mohave Blue Turquoise measures 13/16″ W x 3/4″L and the Druzy measures 1/2″ W x 7/8″ L. The whole pendant measures 7/8″ W x 2 1/8″ L. The pendant is set in Argentium™ Sterling Silver, a non-tarnishing silver.
